
Carlyle Indians Track & Field will be having an informational meeting for any 5th-12th grade students interested in joining the Track & Field High School or Jr. High teams on Monday, February 28th at 6:30 PM in the CHS cafeteria. The first practice will be held Tuesday, March 1st after school.

The Carlyle Jr High School Volleyball matches scheduled for this afternoon (vs St. Rose) have been canceled. A makeup date will be announced at a later date.

FFA Week will be celebrated next week at CJHS!
Tribe Times will have a chance to win a Breakfast Party sponsored by FFA two ways.
Through FFA Trivia and through the community service event "Lidding to Serve" Bring in any plastic lids you have and it will go towards the Tribe Time Period.
Dress up days are:
Tuesday: FFA in the USA Day (Red, White & Blue)
Wednesday: Camo Day (or brown/green)
Thursday: Flannel or Farmer Day
Friday: Blue & Gold / FFA Shirt Day


Huge THANK YOU to Case Halstead Library for allowing us to display our students' hard work on their Native American homes. Many family members came to observe and enjoy the evening as well. Mrs. Runge provided treats and it was a great success.

The Junior High School is selling "No Indian Fights Alone" purple and gold bracelets for $2.00 each in support of Ali Schubel. The entire amount will be a donation to help with medical expenses.
Bands may be purchased at the Junior High School office!



CJHS and Covered in Chocolate are teaming up to do a fundraiser for ALI SCHUBEL.
On Wednesday, March 9, Covered in Chocolate will provide a complete meal consisting of Lasagna, Garlic Bread, Salad, and Cupcakes!!
Each meal will serve 4-6 people and costs $55.00.
Pick up will be at the Carlyle Jr. High School cafeteria from 3:15 - 5:00 pm on March 9.

Our 5th grade social studies ended their unit on Native Americans this week with student presentations. Mrs. Runge would like to invite friends and family to the Case-Halstead Library on February 15th at 6:30 p.m. for a display night so our students can show their expertise on Native Americans and also to show the community what we have been accomplishing in the classroom.




$20 Puzzle Challenge Fundraiser!!
Grab family and friends to join the CJHS Puzzle Challenge fundraiser for the month of February! The money raised will go to purchase a heat press for Tribe Shirts, etc.
It’s a 1,000 piece puzzle! Only 34 teams allowed.
Every team gets the same exact puzzle. Begin February 1st or after and must complete puzzle by Feb. 28th to enter the drawing. Send a photo of your group and the completed puzzle to lkampwer@clinton.k12.il.us A drawing will be held from all the submissions to determine a winner!

Mark your calendar 8th grade class! The date for the 8th grade trip to Six Flags is set for April 29, 2022!


5th grade social studies students are working hard on their Native American Research project. Students are very excited for this project and Mrs. Runge is hoping for a public viewing sometime in February.



5th graders welcomed Officer Taylor into the classroom on January 7, 2022 for their very first D.A.R.E. Program Lesson. Thank you officer Taylor for taking time with our CJHS students.



The CHS Art Club would like to invite members of the community to a paint party fundraiser this Friday, January 21st from 5-7pm at Carlyle High School!
The cost for this event is $15/person and includes one 11x14” canvas, paint, brushes, smock, refreshments, and step-by-step instruction on how to create the painting shown below!
To register for this event, please contact Miss Emily Minton at eminton@clinton.k12.il.us! Participants age 12&under must be accompanied by an adult. Registration will be limited to 40 participants - first come, first serve!
