Mrs. Kampwerth's 7th grade class enjoyed completing a Veterans Day fact scavenger hunt this afternoon!
Tomorrow is our Veteran's Day Program! Breakfast for our guests begins at 8:30, with our program starting close to 9:30. The program should conclude around 10:30. We are both excited and honored to have so many of our area veterans joining us tomorrow!
We are asking that our CJHS students wear red, white, and blue tomorrow to help commemorate the day.

The 5th & 6th grade boys basketball games scheduled for Wednesday, 11/9 (Breese @ Carlyle) will be played at Carlyle Grade School (951 6th Street) starting at 4 pm.

Veterans Day gives us the opportunity to celebrate and honor the bravery and sacrifices of all our U.S. veterans. Carlyle Junior High would like to invite you to join us on Thursday, November 10th, at 8:30 AM for breakfast and a tribute to our veterans.

Good luck to the CJHS boy’s basketball team tonight as they finish play in the Wesclin tournament. They play at 5:15 pm against Columbia. The game will be played at Wesclin HS.
Tomorrow is the last day to turn in items for the FFA Pajama Drive. PJs must be new, and can be any size from newborn to young adult. The FFA has set a goal to collect 300 sets of PJs.
Attention 5th and 6th grade basketball players:
There is no practice today for 5th or 6th grade Boys Basketball. There will be practice tomorrow at 4:30 in the CJHS gym.
Just a reminder that for those of you who did not pick up your Carlyle Spirit Wear order on Thursday, it will be available for pickup in the CJHS cafeteria again tonight from 4:00-7:30. This is the last scheduled evening for pick up.
For clarification: There is no 5th or 6th grade boys basketball practice today. 5th grade boys practice was cancelled, and there was not a practice scheduled for 6th grade boys.
The 7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball games on Thursday, 10/27 Carlyle @ Sandoval have been cancelled. Sandoval has a band event that will prevent them from having enough players to play. Please remove this date from your schedule.
The 5th Grade Boys Basketball practice scheduled for after school today has been cancelled.

Our 6th graders are ready for Halloween dance!!
Reminder: the 5th and 6th grade Halloween Dance is from 3:30-5:00. 7th and 8th grade dance is from 5:30-7:00. Entry to the dance costs $5. Dress code for the dance is casual, but students may also wear Halloween costumes at the dance. All Halloween costumes must adhere to student dress code. No masks should be worn and fake/look-alike weapons should not be brought on campus. 5th and 6th grade students who plan to attend the 3:30 dance may remain on campus when school dismisses, and if needed, will have the opportunity to change into costumes before the dance begins if they did not wear their costume to school.
