Halloween will be celebrated at CJHS on October 20th. Students are allowed to wear costumes to school on October 20th, but students should not wear masks, face paint, etc. during the school day. Students should also not bring any kind of toy/lookalike weapons to school. CJHS will also be having its annual Halloween Dance after school on October 20th. The dance is a casual dress event, or students may wear costumes.
5/6th grade dance is 3:30-5:00
7/8th grade dance is 5:30-7:00
7th and 8th grade Girl's Basketball tryouts will take place tomorrow, Oct 3rd, from 3:00-4:30, and Thursday, Oct 5th from 5-6:30. Tryouts will take place in the Carlyle Jr High Gym.

The 7th grade baseball and softball teams will play at Wesclin tomorrow at 4:00 pm. The games will be played at Trenton Park.

Attention CJHS students interested in band! There will be an instrument fitting event with music & arts tonight in the CJHS band room from 5:30-7:30. You can ask Mrs. Watts questions about band, rent your instrument, buy instrument supplies, or just see which instrument fits you best.

Tonight, from 5:30-7:30, is the first instrument night of the school year for any students interested in band. You can try out instruments, ask questions, and even order your rental .
Instrument night will be held at the Junior High Band room. Come through the side door by the baseball fields anytime between 5:30-7:30.

Good afternoon! All CJHS students will need earbuds for building-wide FastBridge screenings being given next week. These screenings will help us better identify how well each student is academically responding to our current building curriculum offerings.
