Says "CHS Hosts Winter Concert" and has a wintery scene

The annual CHS choir and band winter concert is planned for Thursday, December 12 at

7 p.m. in the CHS Harriss Gymnasium.

“We are doing a wide range of songs from different time periods,” said choir teacher

Erika Register.

Some choir pieces will be performed acapella while the rest will have an accompaniment

played by Barb Roberts.

The choir will perform first, singing “Good King Kong,” “Carol of the Bells,” “Hodie,”

“What Sweeter Music,”and “Wassail song.”

“What Sweeter Music” will feature a solo by senior Grace Hummel.

The high school band will also perform during the concert.

Their selections include “Sleigh Ride,” “A Christmas Festival,” “Greensleeves,” “Across

the Alaskan Show,” and “Firebird.”
