Seventy CHS junior and senior students plan to attend the career fair at Kaskaskia
College’s main campus on Nov. 1.
“Students will split up into different groups and attend four, 20-minute career speaker
sessions, and later will split up again to attend hands-on learning workshops,” said CHS business
teacher Bridget McConnell.
Students were asked to submit their top six preferences to the ROE earlier this month.
Some options students could choose from were agriculture, automotive repair,
construction, criminal justice, engineering, HVAC, nursing, office technologies, teacher
education, music, and welding.
This event is sponsored by KC and the Career and Technical Education System of
Marion, Clinton, and Washington counties.
