CHS Students Explore Careers

By: Jacob Ruscher

Carlyle High School Resource Management students will spend one school day between

Oct. 28 and Nov. 22 to job shadow at a job of their choosing.

This gives those students the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a job they

might pursue.

“Students set up a date to go job shadow in a career they are interested in and have an

opportunity to ask the mentor questions about the career,” said Resource Management teacher

Mike Jansen.

In this class, students learn about how different careers work as well as the economy,

takes, entrepreneurship, and career exploration.

“I am excited to get the chance to job shadow because I can learn more about a career

that I am interested in,” said senior Kendyl Meyer.
