The second annual Carlyle Boys Volleyball Tournament will take place on Nov. 4 at 6:30

p.m. in the Harriss Gymnasium. The cost to attend the event will be $1.

“There will be four high school teams and one teacher team”, said senior Makenna

Reckling.

Reckling, who is a Kaskaskia District of Student Councils officer and member of the

Carlyle Student Council, organized the event.

The tournament is planned for a Monday since there is no school on Tuesday, Nov. 5 due

to the elections.

Senior Jacob Ruscher who participated in past tournaments said, “ I had fun getting out

there with the boys and winning.”

Ruscher will be a part of the team for his class again this year.
