Carlyle High School students who are in need of a homecoming dress have the
opportunity to pick one anytime before Oct. 12.
According to school social worker Sarah Loepker, these dresses are for students who are
in need of a dress for homecoming, prom, or even a wedding.
Students wishing to set up an appointment to view the dresses can contact Loepker,
Tammy Branon, or the main office.
There are long and short dresses available in a variety of sizes.
As students take dresses, the rack will be replenished.
“It’s a good way to take the stress of finding a dress off of people’s shoulders,” said
senior queen candidate Kendyl Meyer.
Coping for Kids located in Breese has been donating the dresses to CHS for the past three
years. All donated dresses are free for the students to keep after their event.
“(The dress donation) provides a positive way to help everyone look their best and have
an enjoyable time at homecoming,” said senior queen candidate Sophia Hoffmann.
