The end of the quarter means many third graders are cashing in their Dojos for rewards. Teacher chair for the day is a favorite!!
Anyone who placed an order through the AVH Spirit Wear order can pick up orders tonight (10/20) from 4:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the Jr. High Cafeteria (during Parent/Teacher Conference times). We will have a 2nd pick up time next Tuesday (Oct. 25th) same time and location (4:30-7:00, Jr. High Cafeteria). The pick-ups will be for all orders. Thank you to all those who ordered! We truly appreciate your support...and LOVE seeing all the purple and gold! Go Indians!

This message is mainly for Grade School families, but we wanted to make sure everyone has the information. Due to a water main break in front of the Grade School, 6th Street and the circle drive at the Grade School will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Oct 17th . It will remain closed until the leak can be repaired. As a result, we will need to change our arrival, dismissal and parking process around the Grade School campus (All walkers and parent pick-ups will be dismissed at 2:50 p.m.). Second grade has been busy doing research on spiders this week. Stay tuned for some upcoming projects that will test their spider skills!
Ms. Ettleman’s class spent their Friday playing at Hannah’s Playground and then went to Country Kids Pumpkin Patch. 🎃Thank you to all the chaperones that came along, it was such a great day!
Mrs. Gansauer’s class had a great field trip today. We enjoyed Hannah’s Playground, a picnic lunch, and Country Kids Pumpkin Patch.

Mrs.Edwards’ Class went to Hannah’s Playground and to Country Kids Pumpkin Patch on Friday October 14th. Thank you to all the family members that came along for the fun! We had a blast!

Thank you to Carlyle Fire Department and Medstar ambulance for our field trip to the fire station. Mrs. Gansauer’s class had a great time and learned so much.
