The incubator has been up and running for a full week in Mrs. Nave's room. Today while candling a couple eggs, students found signs of life growing inside. It's so "eggs"iting!
We have very important dates coming up at CGS 🤩
1. We will have Glow Day on Friday- all proceeds will be given to PTO as a thank you for their generosity
2. 1st-4th Grade Families- Your students will be celebrating the end of the school year with Field Day. With your donations, we can make this day fun with an inflatable for everyone!
3. 3rd and 4th Grade will be having their spring concert on May 16th
4. 4th Grade will be going on their field trip to Skate City. Please check to ensure your student is prepared
Mrs Price's class had a great time at Earth Day!
Ms. Ettleman's class had a great time at Carlyle Lake for Earth day! We were able to see owls of Illinois, Babaloo, Randy the Magician, nocturnal animals, and birds of prey. Each station also talked about ways we can help protect and keep Earth clean. It was an awesome day with beautiful weather. Big thank you to everyone who took time to make this day happen!

CGS will be celebrating 🌎 Earth Day 🌎 this Friday!
2nd graders had the perfect day of fun in the sun and a private movie theater experience! ☀️ 🍿 🥤 🎥 🛝
Mrs. Nave's class really enjoyed their Penny Drive prize! Thank you to all the kids and their families for donating to the Penny Drive and a huge shout out to Carlyle Dairy Queen for sponsoring the prize! Ice cream is hard to beat!!
To celebrate the hard work at IAR testing, Mrs. Wreath's class enjoyed the afternoon playing Gaga Ball! Even Mrs. Woods joined in the fun!

Yesterday the kindergarten classes were able to go to Marcoot Jersey Creamery. They saw how cheese was made, the special robots used to milk cows, pet calf's, plus tried fresh cheese and ice cream! Thank you to the Clinton County Farm Bureau for the grant that allowed us to go on this field trip!
Third grade had a great day to visit Diekemper Dairy Farm this week. Thank you to Jason Diekemper for showing us around their family farm and for the sweet dairy treat at the end. The trip was made possible through a grant from the Clinton County Farm Bureau.
A Terrific Start to this Thursday!! This young man was given a Caught Being Good Award for being a great helper. Our Tribe is very proud of him!!!!
